Most product teams have more research than they can use. Zoom transcripts pile up, support tickets go unread, and survey responses sit in spreadsheets. The signal is there, but nobody has time to dig through it all.
Observably fixes this. Our AI reads your customer feedback, pulls out individual observations, classifies them, and connects them into a knowledge graph. Your team gets synthesized insights and clear recommendations without the manual work.
We believe user understanding is the foundation of great products, and that it shouldn't require a dedicated research team to get it right.
Technical Co-Founder
I'm the Technical Co-Founder of Observably, where I lead the development of our AI and data infrastructure. I'm the #1 ranked solver on the innovation platform MindSumo and was named one of Major League Hacking's Top 50 Hackers of 2020. I started experimenting with AI back in 2018, long before it was the hot topic it is today. I first learned to code at 12, and ever since I've been fascinated by taking messy data and turning it into insights that actually help people make decisions.
Co-Founder
I'm the co-founder of Observably. My background is in product and AI and I tend to gravitate toward messy problems where there is a lot of data but no clear answer. After working on a few AI-driven products it became obvious how broken the step from insights to decisions really is. Observably is built to make that part actually work.
Every decision should be grounded in real user evidence. We build tools that make it easy to find and cite the data behind every insight.
AI handles the tedious work so humans can focus on judgment. But we never skip quality. Every AI output goes through human review.
No black-box conclusions. Every insight links back to the evidence that supports it. You can always trace the reasoning.
User understanding shouldn't be locked in one researcher's head. We make it easy for anyone on the team to find and use what customers are saying.
